Atlas Tours was founded by an Icelandic family and the name came from their lovely black Border Colli, Atlas. The two main tour guides, Ásgeir and his son Pálmar, share a love of Icelandic nature and road trips. As an Icelander, nothing beats being able to drive for under an hour and be able to instantly enjoy everything Iceland has to offer.

There are plenty of tourist attractions in Iceland and plenty of people willing to drive tourists to these places but at Atlas Tours, we feel a personal approach is always better. In this small group setting, accompanied by guides that have lived here in Iceland their whole lives, you’re guaranteed a genuine experience of everything Iceland has to offer, as well as being able to take your time at every spot and even witness some of the more hidden gems around the country.
